Trent will cover access control processes, tools, and software, addressing issues and breaches. He’ll discuss security systems, physical property security, and best practices for system checks, training, and drills. Trent will also touch on daily security habits for staff and the importance of a comprehensive security manual.
Securing Art Collections and Cultural Assets
Tim Carpenter and Catherine Foster, of Argus Cultural Property Consultants, will present key factors that Estate Managers should consider to secure their principal’s art collections and other cultural assets. These include collections management strategies, the importance of appraisals and insurance, and proper movement and storage of collections including importing/exporting. Tim and Catherine will cover aspects of physical security of objects and also securing your principal against fraud and other art market risks.
Cyber Security in a Private Estate
Roman Bolanos, from Echo Five Group, will discuss Cyber Security in a private estate environment. Roman will address the technology integrated into 'smart' homes, communication systems, and other areas of vulnerability. He'll cover strategies to address these issues and emphasize who needs to participate in cyber security awareness, including family members, staff, and vendors.

Jason Funaro, from The Rescor Group, will guide attendees through determining security needs, vetting and hiring security companies, and comparing large corporate agencies with boutique firms. He'll discuss the importance of a medical program and medical director, certifiable medical candidates, what level they should be, and how to spot a fake. He''ll close with sharing budget considerations for hiring your team.
